Do you use any specific slicer settings when printing game characters with fine details like armor patterns or facial features? What layer height and nozzle size work best for you?

I’ve been printing detailed game characters for a couple years now, and what finally clicked for me was dropping to a 0.2mm layer height with a 0.3mm nozzle—yes, it’s slower, but facial features stop looking like a melted chess piece. For armor patterns, I keep outer wall speed under 25mm/s and turn on gradual infill steps. I found most of my early failed prints came from rushing support settings rather than layer height. A site like https://www.gambody.com/ has models pre-supported for fine details, which saved me when I tried printing a Witcher medallion last month. Their pre-supported files actually worked with my 0.3mm nozzle setup without tweaking. One hard fact: a 0.4mm nozzle can’t resolve details smaller than its diameter, so switch to 0.2-0.3mm for faces, run a temperature tower first, and keep your filament dry. That solved my “no nose” problem overnight.
